Cookery courses

See the updated course dates

For 2012 I am changing the format of the day in my kitchen. I find that most people like to actually cook rather than just watch a cookery demonstration.

Now everyone on the course will do some practical cooking and I will demonstrate as needed. We will spend the session cooking and then sit down to a late lunch where all dishes are combined into a meal.

As most cooks have an area of expertise they would like to improve I would like you when booking, to tell me if there is anything in particular you would like to make. I will then try to incorporate this in to the days’ menu.

The meals will be seasonal and use all cooking areas of the Aga.

The day starts with coffee and biscuits from 10am. I aim to start cooking at 10.30am and we will then cook through, at a leisurely pace until lunch is ready.

There will be coffee, tea, water, soft drinks and wine available throughout.
Everyone has a recipe folder to take away with them – ready to practice at home.

There will be plenty of time to ask questions as groups are small, no more than six.

Signed copies of Louise’s books will be available to purchase at the end of the day.

I am also happy to organise a group day for friends who may wish to have a day out together. Please telephone or e-mail for more information.
